Based on the picture, I expected the Lelo Gigi to be about the size of your average dildo,penis sized. I was delighted when I opened up the package and it turned out to be the coolest, sleekest looking thing ever, now here's a toy I'm willing to take with me when I travel and I wouldn't even feel embarrassed if security pulled it out and inspected it.
Another thing I took to be a good sign was that the Lelo Gigi is very firm, I couldn't tell from the picture or the description as to whether it would have a soft, silicone-like end. Based on my experience with a growing number of toys, I was becoming more convinced that proper g-spot stimulation needs something harder and less bendy and/or jello-like.
The Lelo Gigi needed to be charged first (it comes with a charger and a satin pouch for storing). I plugged it in and the button at the base glowed like a cell phone, already, I love the Lelo Gigi.
